Preparation

  1. Center the Pipe:

    • Ensure the pipe, cable, or conduit is centered in the wall opening or casing.
    • The pipe should be adequately supported on both ends—Link-Seal® modular seals are
  2. Loosen Rear Pressure Plate:

    • Loosen the rear pressure plate nut just enough so that the links move freely.
    • Connect both ends of the belt around the pipe.
  3. Check Bolt Heads:

    • Ensure all bolt heads are facing the installer.
    • Extra slack or sag in the belt is normal. Do
    • On smaller-diameter pipes, links may need to be stretched.
  4. Insert Belt Assembly:

    • Slide the belt assembly into the annular space.
